WILL OF HARRY WYLKINS OF SULGRAVE 1518
In the name of God amen, the 20th day of the month of June and in the year of our Lord God 1518, I Harry Wylkins of Sulgrave in the county of Northampton, of a good and whole a mind nevertheless sick in body thanks be God, make my testament under this manner & form following.
First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God & to our Lady Saint Mary & to all the holy company of heaven & my body to be buried in the churchyard of All Hallows in Sulgrave
Also I bequeath to the mother church of Lincoln.....
Also to the bells of Sulgrave a strike of barley
Also to the torches a strike of barley
Also to Thomas Wylkins my son a sheep & one pair of sheets, 2 pewter dishes & one heifer [?]
The rest of my goods not bequeathed I give to Luce my wife the which I make mine Executrix to do right for the health of my soul, admin...........
These be witness, Sir John Hinton vicar, William Alys ...
