In the name of God Amen, the year of our Lord 1523, I Margaret Molle of Chacombe, sick in body but whole of mind make my testament in this manner
First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God & to our Lady Saint Mary & to all the holy company of heaven & my body to be buried in the churchyard of Chacombe
Item I bequeath to the mother church of Lincoln 2d
Item I bequeath to the hight altar 2d
Item I bequeath to our lady my best kerchief
Item I bequeath to the five lights five strike of barley
Item I bequeath to Peter my son a pot, a pan, a pair of sheets, a coverlet
Item the residue of my goods not bequeathed I bequeath to Henry my son & make Henry my son my sole Executor my Lord ...or overseer to dispose my goods for the health of my soul.
