WILL OF THOMAS MILLER OF SULGRAVE 1518

In the name of God amen, the 21st day of August & in the year of our Lord God, 1518, I Thomas Miller of Sulgrave in the county of Northampton of a good and of a whole mind make my testament in manner & form following.
First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God, to our Lady Saint Mary and to all the company of heaven & my body to be buried in the churchyard of Sulgrave aforesaid.
Item I bequeath to the mother church of Lincoln 2d
I bequeath to the sepulchre of Sulgrave one sheep
Item to the bells one strike of barley, also to the reparations of the ..... church

......my best "hose chesse" [house cheese?] that he.... also to Thomas Symes a pair of sheets of fustian that be.....make... also to Richard Colys my wife's brother my holyday coat.
Also I will that ..... to the white friars of Northampton for the health of my soul. Also I give one sheep.
Also to William my brother a quarter of barley.
The rest of my goods not bequeathed I give to Isabel my wife and Thomas Umfrey whom I make my executors to bestow them for the health of my soul. John Colys to be overseer. These be witness Sir John Hynton, Thomas Symes, William Rawlins
